Clinical opportunity

Primary Care Provider

Physician (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant

Southern California Adult & senior primary care Bilingual English/Spanish required MD: $250,000–$400,000 annually PA/NP: $150,000–$200,000 annually

Position overview

MD Senior Care Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled provider to deliver comprehensive primary care to adult and older adult patients. This opportunity is open to PAs, NPs, and physicians with a background in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatric medicine. The right candidate combines strong clinical judgment with clear communication and a commitment to relationship-based care. Placement within the applicable salary range depends on expertise and willingness to commute.

What you will do

  • Provide preventive, acute, chronic, wellness, and post-discharge care within your scope.
  • Develop individualized care plans with patients and, when appropriate, caregivers.
  • Support medication reconciliation, safety, and chronic disease management.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists, hospitals, and care teams.
  • Maintain timely documentation and participate in quality and population-health initiatives.

What you will bring

  • PA, NP, or MD credentials appropriate to the role.
  • For physicians: background in general, internal, family, or geriatric medicine.
  • Active California license, or eligibility to obtain one, plus credentialing eligibility.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required for patient communication.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and care-coordination skills.
  • Senior care, Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based care experience preferred.
Network growth opportunity

Physician Contracting & Network Development Specialist

Position overview

We are seeking a relationship-driven professional to expand our specialist network and recruit qualified primary care physicians for participation in the MD Senior Care Medical Group IPA. This role owns disciplined outreach and follow-through from first conversation through contracting, credentialing handoff, and onboarding. Success means building credible, long-term relationships, not simply obtaining a signature. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for performance bonuses based on measurable, compliant network growth and value delivered under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

  • Build and manage a targeted pipeline of primary care physicians and specialists.
  • Recruit qualified PCPs for potential participation in the IPA.
  • Expand specialist relationships based on geographic and specialty network needs.
  • Present approved participation terms and guide prospects through contracting.
  • Coordinate credentialing and onboarding while maintaining accurate pipeline records.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, psychology, or a related social science field is required.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in physician contracting, provider relations, network development, healthcare business development, or managed care is required.
  • An MHA or MBA is preferred and may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement; at least one year of directly relevant experience is still required.
  • Working knowledge of IPAs, managed care, credentialing, and provider contracting workflows.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Sound judgment when working with approved terms and confidential provider information.
  • Southern California physician-market knowledge and an established network preferred.
Clinical data & quality opportunity

Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist

Advance accurate, compliant documentation and appropriate RAF capture.

Southern California Hybrid: provider field visits & home $72,000–$88,000 annually Performance bonus eligible

Position overview

MD Senior Care Medical Group is seeking a certified coding professional to strengthen documentation accuracy and compliant risk capture across our Medicare Advantage population. You will review charts, identify supported coding gaps and trends, translate findings into practical provider education, and track the measures that help our teams improve RAF performance responsibly. This hybrid role combines weekly work from home with provider-office field visits. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for performance bonuses based on measurable, compliant improvements in documentation quality, coding accuracy, and risk-adjustment program performance under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

  • Perform high-volume prospective and retrospective chart reviews for ICD-10-CM and HCC accuracy.
  • Identify documentation gaps and deliver actionable education to providers and practice teams.
  • Track HCC recapture, annual wellness visits, coding accuracy, and other risk-adjustment KPIs.
  • Conduct coding quality audits, communicate ambiguous documentation, and report compliance trends.
  • Stay current with CMS, ICD-10-CM, and HCC guidance and recommend practical process improvements.

What you will bring

  • Active AAPC or AHIMA certification: CPC, CCS-P, or CCS required.
  • At least one year of hands-on Medicare Advantage HCC or risk-adjustment coding experience; billing experience is helpful.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage, RAF, HCCs, and compliant ICD-10-CM coding.
  • Proficiency with EHRs, coding software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, independent judgment, and the ability to train providers in person or virtually; CRC and/or AAPC CPB preferred.
